Hey, so did you wanna learn how to prepare jerky or what? We've gotta preserve the rest of this wolf up. While you're out there, poke around one of the stores and see if you can find something to soak it in for better flavor. Like some sauce in one of the abandoned stores or something.

Tch. Don't be ridiculous. Of course not. We didn't even use anything to numb it, when it got stitched back up with clear fishing string. It was a mess though. I had to train on off hand for more than a month, every time I made a fist it'd almost pop back open.

Eh. I survived. I also got strangled with wire by this crazy psychopath murderer who was killing people to try and turn a room in Latimir into his mother (This is why I say you shouldn't live there...one of the reasons), that I didn't survive, but the scientists brought me back to life with their magic, I guess.

Not half as gross as other things we've eaten. But the meat's okay on those things, it just needs some serious spices to cover up the chewyness. We've eaten bats before, Tonberry, those colored cows...we killed a Kraken, a whole team of us, that was good eating...

Yeah. She'll have her bubble bath and her school and her sushi...and whatever else it is she was always on about.

Its how it is here. People come and people go. Sometimes they even come back but without ever remembering anything from when they were here. It's...rough, y'know? You feel sometimes like you can't get too close to anyone, 'cause you'll wake up one day and they'll just be gone.

But you can't live like that. So...you just make your friends, keep them safe, and hope it never happens.

Right. Namine's...she's been taken right out from under our noses twice before now. There's nothing we can do about the scientist's magic, but...keep on coping, hope they're happier, wherever they go. They'll know we keep thinking about them. I hope. If they remember.

The memories are important. If I ever forgot this place...who I've been in this place. I think I'd be practically no one.
