[Seifer hears the voices and heads in that direction.]

[...Oh, well, that kind of wasn't as planned. He sees Hayner duck from the corner of his eye and, catching on to the scheme, strolls out of the back-alley, spotting Seifer heading in their direction. Hands nonchalantly positioned behind his head, he has a confused look on his face.]

Looking for someone?

[ Hayner was trying to cram himself between the fire escape and the wall, behind some old empty crates. There wasn't really all that much room, so he was probably making a little noise. ]

From:

[Spotting the spiky-haired kid, Seifer walks over, crossing his arms. The boy seems familiar, somehow, and Seifer can't place it, but it feels as though he's met this kid before. Even though he's sure he hasn't. But nonetheless, the kid did know his name once before--what was his name?--and so he goes straight to the question.]

You seen Hayner?

[He has no idea what either of them has done THIS time, but after that last post on the network, he figured that Hayner getting punched in the face again might not end very well. So the Keybearer makes a quick decision.]

Hayner? Hmm... Oh, yeah, I saw him! He went that way.

[And then he points in the exact opposite direction from where Hayner actually is.]

[ Hearing the chatter further down the alley, Hayner's curious nature was getting the better of him. He was trying to move from his location without knocking things over and making noise, but the back of his vest was caught on a pipe. Grunting and trying to free himself.. ]

[Seifer gave him a suspicious look, but there's no reason to doubt him. So he nods, mumbling a thanks before turning to head down that way.

Until Hayner gave himself away with grunts. So Seifer just uncrossed his arms, turning around once more.]

I think I'm going to check around Gohl first, if he turned back.

[...Yeah, that was definitely the sound of Hayner ruining Sora's dastardly plan. He winced a little and glanced down the alleyway.]

That didn't sound good. I'll go with you.

[While, yes, Sora may be a CHAMPION FOR JUSTICE!!1!1, this time he mostly didn't want to see Hayner get pummeled for whatever reason it was this time. So when Seifer goes, Sora will follow.]

[ Hearing the voices coming closer, he made a quiet curse noise and backed into his hiding place. Or tried to. Stuck either way, Hayner silently groaned.

[No, it's not good. Especially when Seifer was pretty certain he was about to catch his culprit. And the spiky-haired kid's behind him, so he's not going to do anything extraordinarily violent. Maybe just sock Hayner in the arm and shake his brain into working.

But this was ending right now. Crossing his arms once his eyes spotted the familiar mess of blonde hair, he smirked.]

Well, well, doesn't this look familiar. [He waves an arm lazily in Hayner's direction.] So, what did you do? Hide it in Pry's room? Not that I need your lousy confession to prove that you're a loser.

I guess if you get on your knees and beg, maybe I'll let it slide.

[...Well. That would be Hayner practically hanging from a ladder, wouldn't it.

Sora clapped a hand to his forehead --man, Hayner, even he can do better than that!

And darn right Seifer's not going to do anything too violent with Sora there. 8|]

Why would I put it there? I'm not going to intrude on someone else's space just for kicks.

[ He was caught, and that sucked. Yes indeed he was stuck on a ladder, worming to try and get his vest free. Frowning and since his hiding place was already given away, Hayner tried sticking a foot on the crate to give enough leverage to free himself. ]
