Yes you...uh...it's something of a long story.

You were here, but you must have gone back to your world.

This is another world then where you're from. A group of scientists has been kidnapping people from their home worlds and bringing them here. You were here before, but you left a few weeks ago.

It happens sometimes, and sometimes when people come back, they don't remember being here before.

[Seifer still had no idea what was going on. He was taken from Twilight Town and woke up in the dangerous forest of some desolate piece of crap city with lots of strange people, with a walkie-talkie PDA thing and his struggle bat.

What was this, some funky horror movie? Or one of those 'worlds' he had been hearing about?

And now he was going to meet up with some girl. Straaaange... but hey, girls were cute. He sighed as he stood outside, now wearing a jacket they said he 'owned' when he was last here. It fit his style... actually, the whole room did. Even felt like his bed, comfy and all.

Well, he'll figure it out. Until then, he'd just wait for this Jackie chick to show up.]

[Jackie left her apartment shorty after she had spoken with Seifer, her mind a little confused and shocked with the situation. She wasn't quite sure what she was going to say to him when she saw him, but she was happy to see Seifer again. He'd been a real friend to her before, helping her out of some pretty bad situations, and simply being fun to talk to, and she'd been sad when he left.

It had been different from Patti or Soul leaving...she knew she was going to see them again, eventually, but with Seifer, it had been an odd feeling. Jackie'd been happy he'd gotten out of the city, but still...she hadn't even had the chance to say goodbye. It was the first time any of her Discedo friends had left.

And now here he was again, but to complicate things, he didn't have any recollection of the last time he was here. She sighed, and shook her head.

Well, he'd helped her so many times before, and even if he didn't remember her, she was going to do her best to do the same for him. After a few more minutes, she arrived outside of Gohl and began looking around. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to meet him outside or go to his apartment, so she stood there for a while trying to decide since she didn't see him.]

[Seifer just stood outside, being his dazed and confused self at the moment. And there were strange Christmas plants everywhere, and just coldness... his mind wasn't making much sense of any of this, not anymore.

He spotted her after a few moments of just staring around. Dark, falling apart, dirty places... and then a girl with long black hair standing in the open, looking around. That could've been her, or some other lost kid like him.]

HEY!

[He took a few steps closer, really hoping no monsters came out of nowhere.]

[She turned at the familiar voice, and couldn't help but break out into a bright smile at the sight of Seifer. She walked over sending him a small wave, and still grinning when she approached.]

Hey, Seifer.

[As an after thought, she stuck her hand out in front of her even though the was strange to her. After all, she already knew who he was, but then again it was for his sake.]

I'm Jackie. it's nice to meet you...again.

[He blinked. So he guessed right. And as she came closer, he smiled, reaching over to shake her hand. Gently, of course.]

[He smiled. This wasn't too bad, actually.]

Alright, cool. Well, we'll just go on in, then.

[He smiles, then just lets her hand go, feeling kind of awkward. It really does feel like he might've known her before, but... he doesn't have any memory of it. So he just shrugs it off and leads her upstairs to his place. It's big, so not too creepy, and there was a couch and two beds so he had more than enough room to chill.]

[She follows him, still not exactly sure what to say even now with him right next to her. It is an awkward situation to be in, but she's determined to help him settle in, and get used to this place again. She feels a tug of guilt at that last thought, because things were probably better for him at home, but she shakes her head not wanting to think about things that can't be changed anyway.

She begins talking as soon as they enter the room, in an effort to cut down on the awkwardness.]

I assume some of your old friends helped you get settled back in here?

[Seifer looked around the room, still trying to get used to it: his room, he lived here. It was just so weird. Leaning on the couch's armrest, he crossed his arms.]

Yeah, they brought me here... I really don't get a lot of this stuff... but whatever, it'll kick in later.

[He looked at her.] So, chika... when did you and I meet?

[ She was about to answer him, when the name he used on her registered, and she couldn't help but laugh. She ran a hand through her hair, suddenly feeling much better about Seifer's memory loss. Even if he didn't remember, he was still Seifer. He was exactly the same. She turned to him, smile in place.]

Sorry, it's just, you gave me that nickname the last time you were here.

[ She gets back on track now, answering his question with some commentary of her own.]

Mm. I can imagine it being weird having so many people know you, when you don't remember meeting any of them before.

Well, you and I met a few months ago. We hadn't actually known each other too long but, you helped me out a lot.

It's actually...a funny story..the first time we met in person I mean, ah, because we met over the communicators first. It's like that a lot around here.

[At her laugh, he looked at her, raising an eyebrow. Kinda cute. But he wasn't sure what was so funny, and just kept the slightly-amused, curious look on his face until she answered.

Ah... yeah, his nicknames were pretty famous, huh? Seifer smirked at that.] So, must be a good thing I'm using it, huh?

[He gave her a nod and focused on just listening to her, as things slowly clicked. Not with his memories, but with what the others had been telling him, with how this place worked.]
